Kerry Katona wants to date an older man.
The 35-year-old singer is looking for love again following the breakdown of her third marriage to George Kay last November and her only criteria in a potential romantic interest is they earn their own money.
She said: "I’m up for blind dates, normal dates, any dates.
"He has to have a job though, and maybe be 40 or over. I want someone who is not sponging off me, I want someone who wants me for me.
"It doesn’t matter if he’s in or out of the limelight – as long as he’s a good person and has a job, that’s good enough for me."
But Kerry – who has children Molly, 15, Lilly, 12, Heidi, eight, and Max, seven, from past relationships, as well as daughter Dylan-Jorge, 23 months with George – wants to focus on herself before getting serious with anyone else again.
She said: "I need to learn to respect myself first rather than just settling and lowering my standards.
"This isn’t just about men, it’s about my childhood and me as a person. I need to love me first before I can get anyone else to love me."
Despite her past heartbreak, the Atomic Kitten singer hasn’t ruled out marrying for the fourth time in the future.
She told the new issue of Britain’s OK! magazine: "I’m an old romantic. I still want that fairytale and that happy ever after.
"It might be when I’m 50 or 60, but I still truly believe in marriage.
"I believe in being a unit and a team together, I just need to find that partner and soulmate to see it through with.
"My soulmate is me right now, so I might just marry myself."
