Emily Blunt’s heavy Huntsman costume

Emily Blunt has revealed it took four people to get her into her ‘The Huntsman: Winter’s War’ costume.
The 33-year-old actress had to wear a heavy, but elaborate, silver leather cape for her role as Ice Queen Freya and although it looks great on screen it was "really uncomfortable" to film in due to its weight.
However, Blunt insists three-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood wasn’t interested in her moans as she’s only concerned with her clothing creations looking fabulous.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘This Morning’ today, she shared: "Some of them (the costumes) are really uncomfortable. Colleen Atwood designs our costumes and I don’t think comfort comes into her roster of things that she’s focused on. I had this enormous silver cape coat made out of leather and it needed four people to put it on me. I remember saying, ‘Oh Colleen, it’s very heavy!’ And she goes, ‘Yeah, I know!’ It’s just about as heavy as her sack of Oscars so I think she doesn’t really care, she just wants you to look fabulous. She said, ‘You look great!’ So you’re kind of like, I do look great,’ and you just wear it."
Blunt’s character in the movie – which is inspired by the characters from the Brothers Grimm fairytale ‘Snow White’ – is the sister of Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen Ravenna and she says the plot explores the siblings’ path to villainy.
She said: "I mean this is more of an origin story. I do think it is a standard fairytale. She lives a very normal life, she just wants to be in love and have a child. She’s fairly happy not having power. Then she goes through something very tragic and loses a child, so her power is unleashed and her hair turns white. She becomes this really hardened ice queen who just wants to kidnap children and strip blood out of their lives to turn them into hardened huntsmen."
