Fifth Harmony’s ‘creative’ album

Fifth Harmony had more "creative say" in their second album.
The girl group – which includes Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui – are gearing up to release their second album ‘7/27’, where they have been able to open up more in the songwriting process.
Normani said: "We’ve had a lot more creative say. It’s more personal than the last."
Whilst Camila added: "I think on the ‘Reflection’ album, and since we got off of ‘X Factor’, we tried to establish what the sound was for Fifth Harmony. What best represented us.
"With our first album, you heard the 808 urban-leaning drums as a skeleton in some of the songs, like ‘Boss’ and ‘Worth It’. You can hear that now in ‘Work From Home’, and you’re gonna be hearing an expansion of that."
And the ‘Worth It’ hitmakers feel the new album will give people a "deeper insight" into their thoughts and who they are as people.
Ally told Entertainment Weekly: "People will get a deeper insight into who we are. We talk about topics from love to heartbreak to confusion about someone.
"The main thing for all of us was having a ballad, a slower song. Finally, they get to hear more of a vulnerable side to us! We didn’t really have that in ‘Reflection’, and that’s something we all fought for."
