Stephanie Davis goes on blind date

Stephanie Davis has gone on a blind date with a mystery man following her split from Jeremy McConnell.
The 23-year-old actress revealed on her Snapchat that she was heading out for a romantic evening just days after parting from the 26-year-old model, but the ‘Hollyoaks’ star wasn’t looking forward to meeting her potential suitor.
She posted a short black and white clip on her social media account, complete with the caption: "Out out. Blind date so not keen but f**k it ha. (sic)"
Stephanie and Jeremy met while starring in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in January, but their relationship has been plagued by drama.
Jeremy admitted to cheating on Steph with dancer Caroline Pope during an evening out in Newcastle – just a day after he left the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house, where the soap actress was pining for him, in February.
Jeremy had denied speculation he had cheated on Stephanie until the actress uploaded a screen grab of her conversation with Caroline on Instagram, in which the 19 year old claimed they’d spent the night together behind her back.
Stephanie – who played Sinead O’Connor on the Channel 4 soap – recently admitted she had sought counselling in a bid to rescue her and Jeremy’s burgeoning romance.
Asked how they plan to progress their relationship, she said: "I’m going to continue getting counselling for my own insecurities and Jeremy is going to start to see someone, too. He understands now that he needs professional help to get his emotions under control."
Jeremy added: "I do need some help. I slept with other girls because of my own insecurities, but I’m getting therapy now.
