Ronan Keating wants to duet with Ed Sheeran.
The ‘Life is a Rollercoaster’ singer was delighted to have the ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker perform at his wedding to Storm Uechtritz last year and, after "jamming" with the star during the bash, he’d love to do something more formal with him.
He said: "Maybe down the round we could do a song together, we jammed the night of the wedding, we all got up on stage together and we were singing and it was wonderful. When we were on stage the atmosphere was just wonderful."
Despite his own years of experience in the music industry, the Boyzone singer thinks he can learn a lot from "phenomenal" Ed.
He told BANG Showbiz: "He’s a hell of an artist, simply incredible. You think you know it all after 22 years of doing it and then a talent like Ed comes along and sells out three nights at Wembley Stadium with just a guitar and some foot pedals. It’s phenomenal how talented he is. His ability as a writer is second to none. And apart from that, he’s a great guy."
The 39-year-old singer previously revealed Ed "didn’t hesitate" to say yes when he asked him to perform at the wedding.
Ronan said: "Ed’s a good friend and ‘Thinking Out Loud’ is one of mine and Storm’s songs. When we all caught up in New York City a couple of months ago, I sounded him out about doing it and he didn’t hesitate. I was blown away."
