Rylan Clark-Neal wants Spice Girls as chat show guests

Rylan Clark-Neal wants the Spice Girls to be guests on his new chat show.
It was revealed this week that the ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ host – who shot to fame in 2012 when he tried his hand at singing on ‘The X Factor’ – is to front his own evening TV series on Channel 5.
Rylan has confirmed work of the programme is underway, although is only in the very early stages, but he has already picked the five ladies, Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Horner, as his dream interviewees.
Speaking at the Royal Society TV Awards in London, he said: "I want all of the Spice Girls on it – followed by a live performance – and I mean live!"
The 27-year-old presenter is very excited to have been chosen to front the talk show, especially as it is Channel 5’s first foray into the format since 1999, but he isn’t having much to do with the concept of it.
He told Digital Spy: "If I’m being 100 per cent honest – to people who know about the show – it’s not (just) me. It might have my name on it but I’m being very much kept out of the loop.
"I’ve heard from a couple of friends that things are happening but I’m keeping myself out of the situation until it’s time to do it … It’s where Graham Norton started and it’s something that Channel 5’s not done since 1999."
Channel 5 is reportedly planning to premiere Rylan’s new chat show in May.
