Amy Adams got "swimmer’s ear" on the set of ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’.
The 41-year-old actress was struck down with an ear infection after she shot gruelling underwater scenes for the new DC Comics superhero movie, but admits it was her own fault because she ignored the medical advice given to her by the on-set doctor.
She moaned: "I got swimmer’s ear! I really got two, I got double ear infection! From all the underwater scenes. They give you these drops and they tell you to put them in your ear. And I was like, ‘I’ll be fine’. Then I didn’t do it, and yeah I got it. So it was my own pride and stupidity!"
Amy – who has five-year-old daughter Aviana with artist Darren Le Gallo – reprises her role as Louis Lane in the film alongside Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, Ben Affleck, portrays Batman and Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot.
Henry joked he could have caused her swimmer’s ear by continually dunking her under the water,
During a joint interview on ‘This Morning’, he quipped: "I got super frustrated (during filming) so I kept on dunking her."
