Gregg Wallace wants to own some pet pigs.
The 51-year-old presenter is set to marry his fiancée Anne-Marie Sterpini, 29, later this year and is hoping they’ll be able to splash out on a new home by the end of 2017 as they want to have a field of little piglets roaming around.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I might move house next year. I fancy some land, I don’t need a bigger house, just land so I can grow vegetables and pigs. Anna said she will have a go at making her own charcuterie.
I like the idea of having them and eating them. Anna likes the idea of having them as pets. We won’t have pigs until we move house, but we might not have them, who knows."
But, for now, the couple are focusing on the preparation of their big day and are looking forward to having their friends and family around them as they exchange vows.
He said: "I have set a wedding date. I have a location but it’s a secret. I don’t think my mother is a happy flyer, so wherever it would be we would have to get her there by ship. I think if you are frightened of flying, which I am, leaving from somewhere called ‘Terminal’ scares me."
