Sarah Harding has been forced to quit ‘The Jump’.
The former Girls Aloud singer is the latest star to pull out of the Channel 4 TV show due to injury, after tearing a ligament in her knee during training.
A representative told Digital Spy: "Sarah Harding has withdrawn from the competition on medical advice after pulling a ligament in her knee during training.
"She has been advised by medics to rest and will undergo physiotherapy. Sarah has been a great competitor and we wish her a speedy recovery."
Sarah is the sixth competitor who has been forced to leave the show, which sees celebrities compete at various winter sports including skeleton, bobsleigh, speed skating, ski cross and giant slalom, due to injury.
Linford Christie suffered a hamstring injury and didn’t recover in time to compete while Olympian gymnast Beth Tweddle broke her back when she ploughed into a bollard during training.
‘Made in Chelsea’s Mark-Francis Vandelli snapped his ankle while competing in the Snow Cross challenge, retired Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington dislocated her shoulder and Tina Hobley was forced to quit after she dislocated her elbow.
