Stevi Ritchie wants to host ‘The Xtra Factor’.
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant admits it is his "dream" to front the spin-off show – which is currently hosted by Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom – and plans to approach producers with his ideas.
He said: "I want to host ‘Xtra Factor’ this year, that’s the dream. I’m going to talk to the producers and tell them I have some ideas. If they don’t want Rochelle and Marvin, have me. They’re very talented and I wouldn’t want to p**s on their shoes, but I would love the job."
However, if Rochelle and Melvin do leave the show, Stevi thinks he will face competition from another former ‘X Factor’ star, ‘This Morning’ presenter Rylan Clark-Neal.
He explained to Star magazine: "Rylan is probably next in line and he’s awesome. I’d love to have a career like his."
Stevi is set to tie the knot with Chloe-Jasmine Whichello later this year and fans could get to see their nuptials play out on TV.
Asked if they would let their wedding be filmed for television, Chloe-Jasmine said: "Well, we don’t want to say anything because it may or may not be."
