Steven Tyler’s high-pitched vocals smashes This Morning camera

Steven Tyler’s singing smashed a camera on ‘This Morning’.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left open-mouthed when the Areosmith frontman caused the glass on an auto-cue camera to shatter when his high-pitched Skittles Super Bowl advert, which sees the rocker’s face made out of sweets, was played on the show earlier today (04.02.16).

A stunned Holly put her hand over her mouth as she shared: "Oh my god! You’ll never believe what just happened!"

Phillip leaped from his seat and picked the glass up as he showed the audience and said: "That note has just smashed the front of our camera! At exactly the same time! I have never seen that ever in a TV studio before!"

Holly then asked her co-host if he’d ever seen anything like that happen before in his television career, to which he replied: "I’ve never seen that happen before. Unbelievable!"

The handsome silver fox, 53, later took to his Twitter account to inform Steven about the accident, writing: "Look what you did to our studio @IamStevenT !!! (sic)."

Meanwhile, Steven’s Skittles advert, which was made for the annual championship game of the National Football League, sees the 67-year-old rocker challenge his doppelganger to hit the high notes in Aerosmith’s smash hit ‘Dream On’.
