Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to attend Festival of Remembrance

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to attend the Festival of Remembrance this weekend.

The royal couple, who have son Prince George, two, and six-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte, are scheduled to attend the event, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, alongside Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip on November 7 for the traditional televised service.

This will be the first time the loved-up pair, who got married in 2011, will witness the event unfold first-hand.

Meanwhile, on November 8, Remembrance Sunday, the royal duo will join the rest of their family at the Cenotaph in London as William, 33, lays a wreath in memory of all those who fought and lost their lives in the British World Wars, according to the Daily Express newspaper.

William’s younger brother Prince Harry, 31, will also join his grandfather Prince Philip, 94, at the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey on November 5.

Meanwhile, it’s been a busy time for Harry recently as he’s been tied up with this year’s Rugby World Cup.

The flame-haired hunk presented the Webb Ellis trophy to the New Zealand national rugby union team over the weekend after they thrashed Australia in the final.
