Kavana has called off his engagement to Neil Ely.
The ‘I Can Make You Feel Good’ hitmaker has revealed he and his long-term partner are no longer planning to tie the knot as they struggled to deal with the "pressure" that came with his former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemate Katie Price announcing their engagement on social media.
He told The Sun newspaper: "We got swept away and got caught up in the whirlwind.
"Then Katie tweeted that we were getting engaged and the whole world knew. But it was too soon to be doing this kind of thing. There was too much pressure. It’s over. It’s not happening."
The 37-year-old former glamour model had previously tweeted: "Wooo Kav just got engaged wooo (sic)."
The 37-year-old star – whose real name is Anthony Kavanagh – got engaged at his ‘CBB’ housemate Alexander O’Neal’s concert on Valentine’s Day.
A source said at the time: "He [Alex] introduced him as my Dawg, Kav appeared to cheers and clapping and I think he assumed he was going to sing with Alex.
"But then his partner Neil appeared at the stage and was handed a microphone. He proceeded to get onto one knee and ask Kav to marry him.
"Kav looked totally shocked and immediately said yes as he took the ring from the box and put it on his finger to cheers and clapping from the crowd."
