Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge wants three children

Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge wants "at least three children".

According to source close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – who have two children two-year-old son, Prince George and three-month-old daughter, Princess Charlotte – are still looking to expand their family and "definitely" haven’t decided to stop at two.

An insider told the Daily Express newspaper: "Kate is one of three and is very close to her sister Pippa and brother James. Although the Cambridges already have a boy and a girl they haven’t definitely decided to stop there. They both benefited from growing up with siblings who were close in age. Of course Charlotte is still only a baby but in a year’s time, who knows?"

Betting shop Coral have odds of 6/4 on the royal couple announcing the arrival of their third child by 2016 and 2/1 on it arriving in 2017.

While, Joe Crilly of William Hill said: "If they want another, we think it will be sooner rather than later."

Meanwhile, Prince William has decided he wants to focus on his family before his role in the monarchy and according to reports his father Prince Charles supports his decision.

A source added: "People forget that William is second-in-line to the throne, not the heir apparent. While he knows all too well the importance of his role in the monarchy, he has no desire to supersede his father.

"Prince Charles fully supports William’s decision to put his family first. He wants William to be the best possible father he can be."
