The indie rockers have been teasing fans all week with a series of cryptic posts on Twitter hinting they would be performing a secret set at the world famous music festival on Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England.

The set happened this morning when they took to the stage at around 11:00am with frontman Tim Burgess taking to the stage as he shouted "surprise surprise".

The Britpop band thrilled the thousands of fans who had gather to watch them with a selection of their biggest hits, including ‘Just When You’re Thinkin’ Things Over’, ‘North Country Boy’ and ‘How High’.

Accompanied by a photo of the crowd, he tweeted: "So sweet xx (sic)"

He also posted: "Thank you Glastonbury."

Elsewhere, Bastille and Jamaican star Chronixx’s sets have been highlights and well-received by festival goers at Glastonbury – which has partnered with EE for this year’s event.
